The Memphis Association of Black Journalists (MABJ) invites you to participate in the 2006 MABJ
Media Awards Competition. This competition is designed to be an excellent opportunity for professional
and student journalists to showcase work that examines important issues within the African American
community.

The entry form and contest guidelines are enclosed. Additional information is available at our Web site:
www.mabj.org. The deadline is extended to July 15.

We look forward to your participation in this competition as well as the 2006 MABJ Media Awards Gala,
which will be held Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, 1695 Central Ave, in
Memphis.
